The site has several focal points that offer views over stunning scenery. The highest point on the northern knoll rising towards Mt Earnslaw attracts the visitor and provides an ideal point to enjoy the views, have a picnic or enjoy a glass of wine.

Some large stones, placed in a random manor mark this point providing a place to sit without this being there obvious purpose.

Another hillock to the south allows panoramic views over the lake and Pigeon Island and again benefits from the introduction of a single sitting stone.

The backdrop of native shrubs has been maintained to screen the property from the roadway and retain privacy. This band of vegetation also provides a secret location for the drying area and could also provide a secret location for a spa.
