Saddle Zone. 3.15ha - 7.78 acres Along with lot 6 and 21 this lot shares one of the closest relationships with Lake Wakatipu. The natural aspect for this lot as the name suggests is to the west and south directly towards and beyond Pigeon Island. Like the neighbouring lot 25 the view to the Richardson Mountains to the east is obscured. This is more than compensated for by a panoramic 270 degree view the length of the lake from Pigeon Island rotating west to the mouth of the Greenstone River, the Humboldt Mountains and north to the delta of the Dart and Rees Rivers. The view to the north in fact lines up directly along the length of the distant Glenorchy airstrip. There is some distant road connection but it is so far distant for road noise not to be an issue. Arguably second only to lot 29 in terms of picture postcard panoramic views.
